Adaria is a flight attendant for a major airline and recently met Ryan. She emailed me with the following:
"Thanks for such a nice website! I had met Ryan recently on my flight from Newark/LA and was curious to know more about his acting credits - so I googled, and got your site.
He came onboard with a plaid fisherman's hat pulled down on his head. I must admit, I recognized that he was "someone famous", but did not know "who" he was (even after reading his name on my list). I was working first class and when he got up, I asked him "Now, where do I know you from? Are you a celebrity?" To which he graciously replied, "Oh, I'm not a celebrity, I'm an actor." (Right then, I realized "oops, impolite question"!)
I asked him what I'd seen him in, and again, most humbly, he replied "Have you heard of 'The Notebook'?" Of course, I'd heard of the notebook, I just hadn't seen it yet. Although, I did go on to say how my daughter and husband saw it and cried throughout saying what a great show it was...
Anyway, he was really friendly and when I asked, he was happy to give me an autograph for my 22 year old daughter. During the flight he chatted for hours with a young lady sitting next to him (not traveling with). All I can say is, lucky girl!
What a sweet young man, any mom would be proud..."
